Webcat Solutions have already created a number of websites, including both a revamp and a brand new website from a design put forward by the website owners.

This website was created from a design put forward by Black Dog Traditional Skills who already had a plan of how they wished their website to look and feel. The emphasis was on simplicity, with plenty of images to put forward their products.

Webcat took the design and expanded it a little further with the inclusion of thumbnail galleries inserted in their 'Projects' section to better display the progress of the work undertaken on site. A bespoke navigation menu was created to the customers requirements, as was a contact form and site search feature.

The strong emphasis on images presented the problem of slowing the initial loading of the web page, and this was overcome by Webcat almost immediately by downsizing several images and including a thumbnail gallery where required. This allows the end user to view the complete web page almost immediately, and also presents the customer with the opportunity of viewing each image in greater detail.

This was a website that was completely revamped from a plain and very basic layout. It was completely recreated by Webcat to include animation, sound and new navigation menu. The website organisers were looking to recreate the site with a simple layout, but including an engaging interface that would not slow down the loading of the pages, or overload the end user with too much information. Certain items were required to feature in every page, or on the navigation menu.

The website owners were extremely pleased and excited to have the newly created Sump Nutz website on the Internet and raising awareness of the club and all the events they organise.
